Boulder Opal is renowned for its vibrant play of colours and distinctive matrix formations. Opals are comprised of salt, water and sand. And those components take approximately 50 million years to form opal. So this highly sought after gem definitely deserves the hype! These particular stones have that beautiful purple/ blue hue that boulder opal is known for and they pair perfectly with the tiny silver balls.
